As far as I know, Secretariat's jockey, Ron Turcotte, is still alive. I doubt that he is still a jockey though. Many jockey's turn to training after they retire their silks. Ron Turcotte was badly injured in an accident a few years after the magical Triple Crown of Secretariat. He was paralyzed from the waist down, and is confined to a wheelchair but always makes the rounds in Secretariat re-unions.
