Yes, up until 1996 the league had both the Ottawa Rough Riders and the Saskatchewan Roughriders participate. Ottawa folded in after that season but prior to that the two teams played against each other almost twice a year for decades meeting in the Grey Cup championship at least twice. Notice the slight difference in the way the nicknames are spelled.
