If you have a serious interest in Ballet and would like to be a professional ballet dancer, you can only develop that level of skill by studying at an actual ballet school. If your interest is not as serious, you can learn lots about ballet by reading about it, watching videos and movies, trying things out and teaching yourself.

You can start learning ballet at any time. If you start too young, you could get into bad habits, and the Ropyal Ballet School says you should start around 6-7 years of age. You go down to the locakl ballet school, and if you are amazing, auditionj for the Royal Ballet School. Also, go for their Summer School. You learn LOADS, and it is amazing there!!

There is not one that is the best but there are many amazing ones. Canada's National Ballet School, American Ballet Theater, Royal Ballet School, Paris Opera, Australian Ballet School, Houston Ballet School, Stuttgart Ballet, and the list goes on....

New York: Jackie Kennedy Onassis School (that is American Ballet Thetare's school) or School of American Ballet (New York City Ballet's school) Pennsylvania: Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet and manny more these are for ballet...for any other type of dance I'm afraid i do not know...Hope I can help!!

there are a few that i know of in England i don't know how advanced you are or how professional you want to go but these are some: Northern Ballet Academy- this is where I went ( also has a company) Central school of ballet the royal ballet (of course!) English national ballet London Russian ballet school Elmhurst school of dance there are many more especially in the US. hope this was of some help
Go on line and see if they do auditions in South Africa. Otherwise you may have to send them a DVD of you dancing, or go to the Royal Ballet school in London.
