Fraction = 1/2

Percent = 50%

Decimal = 0.5

English = a half.

Decimal - one divided by two = 0.5

Percent - one divided by two times 100 = 50

English - 50 is half of 100

Fraction 1/4

Percent = 25%

Decimal = 0.25

English = a quarter

They are all ways of representing numbers.

Percents ca n be co nverted to decimals a nd fractio ns. Example: 50% = 0.5 = 50/100 or 1/2

Doctors use these to fill perscriptions and see your anatomys' levels and stats.

they all can be used to find the answer to the same wole number

Different representation are better for different purposes.

They are all the same, fractions can be turned into percents and percents can be turned into fractions. hope that helps :)

When you have 60% in fractions it is 60/100, because percent is alwase out of 100.

Percents are basically decimals, and we use decimals as numbers with extra, tiny proportions. Percents are just ways to make those decimals into a whole, more friendlier number. But, percents can also be made with decimals as well.

Decimals and percents both show a "chunk" or part of a number.

By dividing the percentage by 100 as for example 25% = 0.25 and as a fraction = 1/4

They can show the same number, just in different ways. You can convert fractions into decimals or decimals into fractions.

well if you use tenths or higher that is your percent. ex. 1/10 =10 /100

They can sometimes all have the same numerical values as for example 3/4 = 0.75 = 75%
