A dropshot is a very gentle stroke in which a shuttle is struck with a forehand, backhand or round the head action to direct it towards the top of the net, so that after crossing the net, it falls in the opponent's court very close to the net.

Basic shots in Badminton are: High Serve, Low Serve, Overhead Clear, Underarm Clear, Net shot, Smash, Drop Shot

When you've pushed your opponent back with a clear for example, a drop shot can be used then. Your drop shot (hopefully) will land close to the net, forcing your opponent to run forward.

You need to lunge foward and have the racket well in front of them,

a drop shot is when you tap the birdie just over the net with little to no force. Its best to use when your opponent is playing in the backcourt cause it puts them on the defensive

Smash, Kill, cleyay, drop shot, net shot. lots more ill tell you when i remember.

over head clear drop shot smash under head clear

drop shot, smash, fake shot and many more! You generally wanna stay in the middle of the court and move your opponent around.

Drop shots are used mostly when your opponent(s) is farther into the court(exception for doubles)and you know that he/she cannot receive it, and even if he does, it would likely be a bad return.Which is best countered with a net kill. When you play a drop shot on your opponent, make sure it is very tight to the net, if not, it may make your opponent(s) to make a net kill. But of course, the one of the main things you should never forget in badminton is deception, make it look like a clear or a smash, then at the last moment, perform a drop shot, deceiving your opponent. Hope it helps

you push the person into the back of their court, and once they are there, you drop it right in front of the net and they cant get to it well actually, this isn't the case with professionals. They are quick through the court. They are always at their base position after a shot. The main thing about a drop shot is that it creates confusion. Your drop shot should never LOOK different from your clear. It keeps your opponent guessing.

Whne you are playing a shot in badminton, each shot has its own points... A forehand is 3

A drop shot, usually used after a clear (a far shot to the back of the court), is where the player gently taps the birdie over the net so it makes a player either.... a) hit the birdie high up into the air (a good drop shot is one that you can't smash). b)sprint forwards to try and reach.

This is a delicate and fast smash shot, being played to force the opponent to move to the front court, so that the mid court and the back court remain free to drop the shuttlecock.

The smash- fast, downward hit onto opponent's side. Forehand- A standard motion of badminton. Usually over your head. Clear- A far shot to the back of your opponent's court. Usually followed by a drop shot.

A forehand shot in badminton is where the shuttlecock is hit forward with the racquet without crossing the upper body as in a backhand shot.
