Some of Chamberlain's records from before League fusion are recognized, e.g., his 100 point game, and many of his year-by-year stat lines are recognized. However, certain others, such as this particular record are not recognized, and it begs the obvious question as to why these sorts of distinctions were made by the present NBA League. Even Bill Russell had a consecutive double-double streak that exceeded 100 games. As laudable as the individual records recognized for Moses Malone, and now Kevin Love might be, they are false records!
