Horses have many uses, they can be used for transportation through riding or pulling carts. They can be used to deliver items, again, using carts and wagons. You can compete in equestrian sports on horses, which also provides entertainment and exercise. Horses can also be used for companions, in much the same way you would use a cat or dog as a pet, they just cannot go inside the house.
