Five images.
Use this formula to get the number of images
[360/@] - 1
Here @ is the angle between the planes
So 360/60 - 1 = 6-1 = 5
If 2 mirrors are placed perpendicular to each other then infinite no of images will be formed because image formed by one mirror will act as the object for the other and vice verse.

They should be arranged so that they point in a direction that is 120 degrees away from the other two so that they are all 120 degrees from each other.

Depending on the angle between them, you will get multiple reflections of any object between the mirrors. If the mirrors meet at an angle of x degrees, an object placed between them should generate a maximum of (360/n) - 1 images. Parallel mirrors should, on that basis, produce an infinite number of images but because of microscopic flaws in the mirror, absorption, internal refraction etc, the images will degrade more or less exponentially.
As we place two mirrors inclined with each other then many images are formed. If @ is the angle of inclination then number of images is got by the formula [360/@] - 1 Hence as we place the two mirrors at right angles ie 90 degree then number of images will be 3 If both mirrors kept parallel facing each other then infinite images are formed.
If 2 mirrors are placed perpendicular to each other then infinite no of images will be formed because image formed by one mirror will act as the object for the other and vice verse.
If the mirrors are exactly parallel - there will be an infinite number of images, as they will be reflected indefinitely.
The number of images of an object placed between two mirrors inclined at an angle is give by:Number of images= (360/ angle of inclination)-1
In theory, there should be infinitely many images. In practice, though, imperfections in the mirrors, diffusion in glass and the air gap between the mirrors mean that there are not infinitely many images.
