He taught Tiger Woods when he was just 9 months old to play golf
When Tiger was just a couple months old, he saw his Dad, Earl Woods, hitting balls into a net. Tiger was fascinated and tried hitting balls himself. From that point on, Tiger loved golf and has been playing ever since.

If you mean Earl Woods - Tiger's father then yes he was. He died in May 2006 I think. If that is the Earl you meant then I just read an article dated April 2002 in Observer Sport Monthly where whilst being interviewed he talks about playing golf with Tiger at Christmas one year and after Tiger got a hole in one Earl said "I almost put one right on top of it" so I guess he wasn't bad. I asked the question did you mean Tiger's father because Tiger also has a stepbrother called Earl Woods Jr and I have no idea about him sorry. But Tiger's niece Cheyenne is supposed to be an up and coming golf star. I hope that's what you wanted. Good Luck

As of the 2008 season, that would be Sam Snead with 82.
According to Golf Digest, Tiger Woods made 122 million dollars in 2007 from winnings and endorsements.
Assuming that Tiger Woods would actually have the time to play a round of golf with a general member of the public, they would need to be very very wealthy. It would be at least a couple of million dollars. He is paid massive appearance fees of around $2-3 million dollars just to show up at a tournament.
