An even number is one which is divisible by 2. 155 is not divisible by 2, so it is not an even number.

A composite number is one which has more than two factors. Factors of 155 are 1, 5, 31 and 155, it has more than two factors. So, 155 is composite.

When we ask what type of a number is, then we have to choose the categories which have some relation.

Let us consider a case:

Prime number: Only two factors.

Composite number: More than two factors.

These two categories we have something to do with factors. So these two categories have some relation.

So when we ask Is goat a herbivore or a carnivore?then it is fine because both categories(herbivore and carnivore) have something to do with type of food the animal eats.

But when we ask Is lion a carnivore or a wild animal? then we can't relate the two: herbivore and wild animal because carnivore means flesh eating whereas wild animals means the animals which live in forests. A flesh eater has nothing to do with living in forests.
