i dont think you can but it doesnt affect the performance if it is not deep
if your eyesight is really good, then yes.
Yes, use a good primer first. I do it often.
There are a lot bats that have some composite or all composite. If you are looking for a good bat to buy that is composite, I would recommend a combat, they are 100% composite, so they have a really good pop, and they have a very long barrel which means the sweet spot is a lot bigger.
The key here is matching. You will need to get a good size chip off the wall and take it to the local home center / paint shop to have it color matched. They will custom mix the paint for you so you can just paint it on and have it match.
Yes... The wear and tear is going to be the biggest problem thou... If it were me, I would just paint the top part of the key not the bottom part were you put it into the lock, because it will probable chip over time. You would want to use a good acrylic paint and then use a good quality polyurethane or acrylic media to paint over the paint- You can find this in any good arts and crafts store.
no, it is not nessesary but its a good idea to get a chip
Depending on the material used for the Hull, there are Gel Gloss Paints used for Fiberglass and composite boats and very good Acrylic Enamels and Urethane for sealed wood.
I would suggest either taking the club to a club repair shop to be professionally done or consulting a website like the one below for information about specific paint for your club and doing it yourself. http://www.golfpaint.com/ Good luck.
Doing a crummy job is easy enough, but doing a good job of it is quite hard. You'd need to disassemble it down to bare frame first, a challenge in itself. On top of that, whatever paint you can apply at home is nowhere near as durable as the factory paint, so it will scuff, chip and flake easily.
If you want a good composite bat, you're best best bat will be either the CF4 black, or the Combat B3, I have owned both of these bats, and to me, they are both amazing bats. Now in 2012, the Easton XL1 is the best composite baseball bat. p.s. college players use the XL1 also, rather than little leaguers and all other ages.
Any chip that is Bbq flavored...ummmm so good
If it is a good paint then it will last for about 10 years, if the paint is not that good then it will last for just about two moonsoons. All depends upon the paint used for there purpose.
