ON your bearings is entirely pointless.
But it can do some good IN your bearings.
The kind of bearings used in skateboards do need some sort of lubrication. It can be either oil or grease. Oil does make the bearing spin a little easier, but doesn't stay in the bearing very well.
If you run oil you need to relube fairly often, or run the risk of trashing the bearings.
Grease will spin a little slower, but it'll stay in place better. You can go longer between cleans and lubes.
Your choice.
Me, I use grease, but a fairly small amount. Means I don't lose that much spin, and the bearings will survive rolling through an occasional puddle.
Speaking from personal experience where my step dad was trying to be nice and grease my bearring for me so I would have a smoother ride. No.
If it is just a normal wheel grease it is not good. It will give you a smoother and quitter ride, but be expecting to go much slower and getting much more leg exercise from pushing.
yeah, theyre for skateboard and scooters
FKD bearings
a skateboard has 8 bearings. 2 bearings inside each wheel facing opposite ways inside each wheel
depending on your bearings
u pop the caps off if u dont kno wat the caps are theyr the front part of the bearing after u do tht grease them nd pop the caps back on (if u want ur bearings to be fast u might want to clean them wit soap and water befor putting grease on them but remember to dry them)
pop them out of the wheel
no
If you are talking about the hub bearings , you can't grease them , they are a sealed unit .
Linear Bearings are self-lubricating. WalMart is a store that sells many items online. You can purchase linear bearings from WalMart and they will have it delivered to the store for free or to your home for a nominal cost.
Bearings are used to let the wheels spin freely and with minimal drag.
Probably not considering they're roller blade bearings
