What is the average mile time for a 12 year old male?

probably 6-8 minutes. In district I got 5:57!:D it depends if you jog or not.

You probably shoud get under 8 minutes if you try. For our school mile I got 5:32.

Im 11 and got 7:05! WHAT NOW AND IM ONLY 4ft 4 and weigh 60!

Hey, guys, that's not nice. Some ppl get worse scores. I get 8:26. But, the presidential time is 8:23 (which I'm trying to beat) and national is 11:08. :D

*I'm 12 years old and i ran the mile in 5 min 44 secs i would say anything under 8 min 30 secs is good

*The chart for north American averages in our gym says 9:45 for girls and 9:30 for boys

Well a good mile time would be around 6:30 to 6:40, but I'm 12 and I ran 5:59 at my schools conference track meet championship and still got 10th. I started out with a 7:11 but got all the way down to 5:59 with a lot of a hard work and patience. Happy running!

I'm a seventh grade 12 year old girl that just ran the mile in 7.55... The boy's average was about 6 minutes flat with the fastest 4.57

im a 12 year old girl and i run a 5:01 but the average for girls i run with would be around 7:00 :)

The average For a 12 year old boy is 5:45. But, if you can run under that time, that is very good. I ran a 5:14 mile when i was 12.
