What is the salary cap in the NFL?

For the 2010 season, there is no salary cap in the NFL.

The NFL owners opted out of the collective bargaining agreement made with the players in 2006. Since there is no agreement, there is no cap. Certainly, any new agreement will contain a salary cap. If there is not a new agreement in place by the start of the 2011 season, there will be no NFL football.

For the 2009 season, the NFL salary cap was $127 million.
