Paintball Markers use commonly use CO2 or Compressed air to fire a paintball. They use a trigger to activate the firing cycle of the gun. There are two basic types of markers out there: Blowback markers, and Electro-pneumatic markers.
This is an example of how a blowback marker fires:

Here is how a few typical Electro-pneumatic markers fire, they use a solenoid to direct air flow in the gun:

There is no "ak-47" paintball gun. there are many companies that make guns that are styled after the Kalashnikov series rifles. On the same note, Spyder makes several models of paintball guns, which vary from beginner "wallmart guns" to decent enough middle classed markers.
Not at all compared to actual paintball guns.
the eye is not specific to a spyder....it is in all decent guns. it is a infra-red light that is in the chamber where the paintball is ready to fire, it senses when it's beam has been broken and it only allows the gun to shoot when the ball is all the way in the gun...this makes chopping paintballs a thing of the past.
Yes most kmarts do sell paintball guns
yes, paintball guns do have recoil, but no where near a real gun.
No it is not, we have many paintball fields in the area.
Yes
There is no such thing as high voltage paintball guns.
Any paintball gun that will not fire simply from hitting the butt of the tank, is not over the FPS limit, and will only fire one shot per trigger, or has the correct ramping setup for the tournament.
There is no place in the US that requires a permit/license for paintball markers.
Nearly everything. Paintball guns are fired through the use of air or CO2. Also they shoot only paint. bb Guns shoot pellets, and look completely different then most paintball guns.
No, 11 is the minimum age to play, and paintball guns are not lethal.
