There were White people who were fans of the Negro leagues. That period in time was feuled with racial so there were many varying outlooks. Baseball has always been a popular American game.
The U.S. was segregated at that time and blacks and whites did not play on the same teams.
he broke babe ruths all time home run record
Because White people didn't want competition from non-whites (Negros).More Accurately:The Negro League was established to create a venue for African-American athletes at a time when they were not permitted to play in the Major Leagues with their equally skilled white players. Segregation was the law of the land, and this included professional sports.
Please someone answer the question fast!!!! I searched all over the Internet and couldn't figure out the answer. :(I believe that the Negro Leagues was a league of baseball that was strictly focused on Afo-American men back at that time, because of racism and discrimination. White major league ball were just your average baseball teams. Again, I believe that this was around the same time as racism and discrimination and there was a STRICT NO NEGROES allowed policy.Segregation really kept them apart. That was main difference between Negro Leagues from the White Major League ball clubs.

After the integration of professional baseball two factors combined to bring about the collapse of the Negro Leagues: (a) the best players from the top Negro League teams were signed by Major League organizations, thus weakening the top Negro League teams, and (b) the interest of black fans was quickly drawn away from the Negro Leagues as they focused their interest on the performance of Jackie Robinson and other black pioneers in the major leagues
