If the ball crosses the goal line and was last touched by a defensive player then there are two possible restarts.
1. If it crossed between the goal posts and under the cross bar, then a goal is awarded and the restart is a kick-off for the defense.
2. If it crossed outside the goal posts or over the cross bar, then the restart is a corner kick for the attackers.
If the ball exits the field across the goal line, between the goal posts, and under the cross bar, then a goal is awarded to the attacking team and the restart will be a kick off by the defense in the centre circle.
If the ball exits the field across the end line elsewhere, then the restart will be a corner kick for the attacking team. This is a free taken from the corner nearest to where the ball went out.
A goal kick. Unless it does so between the goal posts and below the crossbar, in which case the restart is a kick off.
It depends in soccer the other team throws it in and in some other sports the other team just gets it.
If it does so between the goal posts and under the cross bar, then a goal is awarded and the restart is a kick off for the defense. If not, then it is a goal kick for the defense.

In soccer, an advanced forward is a player positioned closer to the opponent's goal, typically known for their goal-scoring abilities and offensive skills. They play a key role in leading the attack and creating scoring opportunities for their team.
The only 'offensive' player would be the server, who always starts out the point. No player really plays offense or defense, because no player (or pair of players in doubles) always retains possession of the ball. In basketball, football, and soccer, a team or player has possession of the ball, and the opposing team has to prevent the team from scoring. In tennis, the server starts out the point and has the starting offensive advantage, but since tennis players rally (unlike those of basketball, football, and soccer), there is no definitive offensive player.
