A Baseball game ends when there is the final out of the ninth inning. If the home team is winning, and they get three outs in the ninth, they win. If the score is tied after nine innings of play, they go into extra innings, which lasts until a team scores and holds the other team to scoring.
It can go on for hours ...
Since professional baseball games are normally nine innings long, the fifth inning is used as the threshold for an official game, since it is roughly the halfway mark.
The longest inning in Major League Baseball was the 10th inning that was played on May 8, 2004 between the Texas Rangers and the Detroit Tigers with the game being played in Arlington, Texas. The inning lasted one hour and 8 innings and included a total of 110 pitches thrown and 18 runs.
About 3 hours.
The average 9 inning ball game should last about 3 to 3 and a half hours. If one team is physically dominating the other (i.e.-any team that plays Tampa Bay haha!) then the game could last 4 to 5 hours.
Bill Long played in 30 games at pitcher for the Chicago White Sox in 1989, starting in 8 of them. He played for a total of 296 outs, equivalent to 10.96 9-inning games. He made 9 putouts, had 15 assists, and committed no errors, equivalent to 0 errors per 9-inning game. He had no double plays.
You probably mean 'inning.' An inning continues until each team has recorded three outs against the other team. In other words, there is no time limit for an inning in American Baseball; both teams have to record three outs.

A Baseball game lasts 9 innings. an inning is batter batting until 3 outs are made, an inning is 6 outs 3 from each team, Baseball has NO set time limit, a game can be called for rain and other acts of "god" but not for timeb before stadiums were lighted games could be called for darkness
It's suppose to take 1 hour and 20 minutes
In Texas, High School baseball games are 7 innings long, and I believe that is the same around the country. If the game is tied at the end of the 7th inning, it continues until there is a winner.

That's the beauty of baseball - there's no time limit. You play 9 innings, no matter how long it takes. Of course, there are rules about how long the batter is allowed to be out of the box between pitches, and how long a pitcher can take before he pitches, but those are seldom followed. Most baseball games (excluding playoffs due to TV) can run 3 to 3 1/2 hours. Actual game time in a nine inning game is 15-17 minutes.
In 1918, the Phillies lost a 21-inning game to the Cubs, 2-1.
About 3 hours.
Until you log out of the game
Until someone, or something wins
