The WA(wing attack) helps the C(centre) get the ball to their goal end and into the circle so they can shoot.
The WA can go in the same places as G.A but not in the goal circle
so in the center third and goal third but not the circle
W.A stand for Wing Attack their job is to get the ball into the goal circle
It stands for WING DEFENSE. Next to the WA of the opposition facing their goal on the line nearest GK in line with GD of their own team.
There are three parts of a Netball court. And the Wing Attack can play in two out of three. The goal third and center. But the Wing Attack can not play in the goal circle.
the other teams wing defence
WA
wing attack :)
The Fever Netball team comes from WA (Western Australia)
Wing attack in netball
C, wa, wd
In the Kiswahili language of African origin, "mpira wa kikapu" has the meaning of "netball."
WA stands for WING ATTACK which is one of the midcourt positions. The key responsibility of the WA is to take the centre pass and feed the shooters.
There are 7 players on a netball team; C, WA, GA, GS, WD, GD, GK Hope that helps:)
the goal keeper would mark the goal shooter
GS GKGA GD WA WDC CWD WA GD GAGK GSKey :1st teamC 2nd team(;
there is no CA in netball. the positions are GK, GD, WD, C, WA, GA,GS. I am guessing you meant GA so this position you shoot for goals like the GA but can run 2/3 of the court ( youre position is mixed between a GS and a WA)
WA defends the WD on the other team and works at getting the ball to their goal circle.
