It varies from coach to coach. With practice, games, and recruiting, they work many hours and probably more than 60 hours per week.

Most pro basketball players began playing when they were very young. They played in junior high school, high school, and college. They attended special basketball camps as a teenager. Baseball players by far. Look at Alex Rodriguez The answer above is totally wrong basketball players like shaq, kobe, lebron and garnett get payed more than jeter (the highest payed baseball player)

Some can argue yes, some no. They usually get paid about 1-3 million per season to coach professional basketball players (or college, depending on the level) who are making millions. Probably more yes's than no's on the vote.

A baseball player makes more money then a basketball player... most money payed for a baseball player right now is 30.5 mill for Alex Rodriguez. Most for a basketball player this year(2007-08) is 21 mill for Kevin Garnet!
