In 1926, three brothers Adriano, Marcello and Bruno Ducati founded 'Societa Scientifica Radio Brevetti Ducati' in Bologna, making radio parts etc. This went well until the 2nd World War After the WWII Ducati began making small engines to fit to Bicycles, and that led to their first complete motor bike, in the 1950's legendary designer Fabio Taglioni joined Ducati, and the rest is just history.
