Evan Longoria.
Babe Ruth. Not a Bad answer really. George Herman Ruth was the home run king for decades but he was a great base stealer as well as an awesome pitcher. It was his pitching that caught the eye of the Yankees and traded for him from the Red Sox. Ruth had longevity and numbers that are out of this world. Before Ruth there was Ty Cobb who didn't have power numbers even though he won a home run title, with less than 10 home runs in a season. It was a different era as was the 50's 60's and 70's. Include the steroid era where no one knows who was doing what and who is still doing it the subjective idea as to who the best Baseball player is left up to the individual. Babe Ruth is arguably the best baseball player, ever. Hank Aaron fans, Cal Ripkin fans, Pete Rose fans and Willie Mays fans may argue with you.
Probably Ryan Braun and Matt Kemp, because they are all around hitters. They can hit far,get on base, do good in the clutch and steal.
