He was a catcher who made his debut on June 1,1883 he went 1 for 11 in his only season in the majors. His hit was a double. He was born on March 4,1861 and died on his birthday,March 4,1916.He was born on the same day ABRAHAM Lincoln was sworn in as our 16th President. He never played Baseball again and he faded into oblivion and is long forgotton.Only a PHILLIES PHANATIC like myseldf would remember him.I have been a PHILLIES fan for 45 years.
