Best Answer

The starting QB in the Cowboys first ever regular season game was Eddie LeBaron. He completed 15 passes in 28 attempts for 345 yards, 3 TDs, and 3 INTs as the Cowboys lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers, 35-28, on September 24, 1960. LeBaron started 10 of the 12 regular season games that season. Of the other two, Don Meredith started 1 and Don Heinrich started 1.
