The most significant number 36 in Washington Redskins history was Pro Bowl linebacker Chuck Drazenovich (1950-59). Pro Bowl safety Sean Taylor wore number 36 during his rookie season of 2004, but wore number 21 from 2005 until his untimely death during the 2007 season. Others who have donned the number for the Redskins include running back Tom Tracy (1963-64), running back Ralph Nelson (1975), running back Timmy Smith (1987-88), tight end Frank Wycheck (1993), special teams player William Bell (1994-96), running back T.J. Duckett (2006) and fullback Darrel Young (2010-current as of August 2012).
