A linear inch is a unit of length. A square foot is a unit of area. The two units are therefore incompatible.
You are confusing the measurement of area with the measurement of length.
One square foot has 144 sq inches. Doing the math gives an answer of 1440 square inches.
400 square feet (20 x 20 = 400)
There are 20 times 10 = 200 square feet
240 square feet
10 square feet = 1440 square inches.
It is 6.66... repeating square feet.
12 ft x 20 ft = 240 square feet
400
To get the answer multiply length and width. The answer will come out to be 1,152 square feet.
50ft x 20ft = 1,000 square feet.50ft x 20ft x 4ft = 4,000 cubic feet.
If you can assume that the room is 10ft * 24 ft then it is 10*24 = 240 sq feet in area.
Any size room where the length in feet times the width in feet equals 1,330.
A 30 square foot room could be many dimensions... 6ft by 5ft, 10ft by 3ft, or the more common size of 6" x 60ft. The length (measured in feet) x the width (measured in feet) = the square feet. By this theory, the room could be a mile long, but it would only be 1/16 of an inch wide.
20 feet x 10 feet = 200 square feet
To get the answer multiply length and width. The answer will come out to be 1,152 square feet.
400 square feet
It is 60 feet.
10ft. By 10ft.-100 square feet
10 feet x 10 feet = 100 square feet.
18ft*20ft = 360 square feet
If that is 20ft by 20ft then there are 400 square feet
The diagonal is 14.142 feet.
6ft by 10ft = 60 square feet
20ft x 10ft x 7ft = 1400 cubic feet 1 yard of dirt = 27 cubic feet Hence yards required = 1400/27 = 51.85
20ft * 15ft = 300 square feet.
