No you can't. Facebook does not have the option to block your friends' news-feed of any application. A new option on your home page, however, allows you to select what kind of updates you wish to look at. Beside "Most Recent" select whether you want to see updates from friends when they post new updates or whatever.

But you have the control of your own news-feed. Just don't publish any progress of your applications and obviously nothing will appear in the pages of your friends.
