There are two types of root systems. taproot system and the fibrous root system.

Tap root and fibrous root are two systems. Tap root system is prevalent in dicots and fibrous root system in monocots.

Geraniums tend to form highly branched fibrous root systems. The roots themselves, may develop root hairs to aid in absorption of mineral from the soil.

Shoot System: Everything above the ground (stem, leaves, flower, fruits)

Root System: Everything Underground (Roots)

Usually they have peach tree root systems.
