An eye test can help you determine if you have or are at risk
for vision problems. Not only can an eye test help spot refractive
errors, like nearsightedness, farsightedness or astigmatism, but it
can also help determine if you have problems with binocular
coordination, focusing or peripheral vision. An eye test can also
alert you to eye diseases that you may be at risk for. Children may
have their first eye test as early as six months of age, but should
have at least one comprehensive eye test before they enter
school.
