No, the only states that have legalized sports betting are
Nevada, Delaware, Oregon, and Montana. And of those states, only
Nevada currently offers sports betting.
When Congress passed the Professional and Amateur Sports
Protection Act of 1992, Nevada, Oregon, and Montana already had
sports betting laws on their books and were grandfathered in.
Delaware legalized betting on sports in 2009, but has not moved
forward with any plans for gambling facilities in the state, due to
threats by the sports leagues to ban any games from being played in
the state.
New Jersey is attempting to legalize sports betting as of 2013,
but is fighting with the pro sports leagues and the NCAA. In
Connecticut, sports betting is currently illegal, as it is in all
of the other 50 United States.
