According to Haynes Manual, 2001 and later 2.3L Ford Ranger, the Cylinder Head Temperature (CHT) sensor replaces the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor on earlier models. The CHT sensor is located between the #2 and #3 spark plugs in the cylinder head and can be accessed through the valve cover. Carefully pull back the CHT cover to expose the electrical connector then disconnect it from the CHT sensor. Unscrew the CHT sensor and remove it. Installation is the reverse of removal, being careful not to overtighten the CHT sensor when installing it.

To use cheats you must have a folder named CHT on the root of your SD card. manual create one If not existed. The CHT folder is where all your cheat files will be stored. EZ5 kernel built two cheat engine since ver 1.72, CHT and ARDS. CHT is the EmuCheat format which used widely in Chinese. ARDS is the ActionReplay codes provide by Codejunkies. CHT engine accept single ".cht" file and database "cheatcode.dat" ARDS engine accept database "ezarcode.dat" which created by ardscodeeditor, you can get it on the software download page. You can toggle the cheat engine in the EZ5 system setting.

It depends which engine you have; however, the CHT is a Cylinder Head Temperature, not an ECT (Engine Coolant Temp) and on the Zetec DOHC engined Focus this is on the cylinder head, squeezed behind the alternator where you can't really see it. Most Focuses have a CHT and not an ECT.
