Your Programs un-signed have a collectors value of about $15.-$25. each. As with all collectibles, condition is the most important factor of all providing that the item is authentic. With programs/scorecards the slightest flaws will bring the price down significantly. An exceptional mint condition scorecard could sell for more.

Common flaws would be staining, foxing (yellowing), fading, creases, rips, loose pages, cracked binding, and writing on the cover. Un-scored programs will generally sell at a higher price than a scored program but sometimes it doesn't effect value. The over all condition, and how well the cover displays will.

The value on a "scored" program as opposed to a un-scored program can vary depending on the game, and collectors preference. In general I would say an un-scored program will sell at a higher price. Some collectors do not mind scored programs, or might prefer it scored. A game in note that might sell at a higher price "scored" would be Don Larsens perfect game in the World Series.

Once the program is signed it looses most of it's value as a collectible, and becomes an item to display the signature. The bulk of the value now relies on the value of the signature(s) and how well the signature(s) are displayed. Value will vary based on condition, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the signature. Signatures that are not properly authenticated could sell at half the market value or less.

The placement of the signatures will effect the price as well. If the signatures are on the inside, the programs will retain it's collectible value with added value for the signatures. If the cover is signed, the value will be compatible to a signed 8 x 10 photo.

Why were the 1969 mets called the miracle mets?

The Mets were horrible for 7 years, and were mediocre for the first part of their eighth year, 1969. The Mets were 9 1/2 back in mid-August and then suddenly went 39-11 while the Cubs collapsed. The Mets then swept the Braves in the playoffs, and then shocked the Orioles in the World Series.

Which first place team did the mets play amd jinx in the infamous black cat game?

On September 9, 1969, the Cubs and Mets were playing at Shea. The Cubs was leading the division by 1.5 games and this game was very important. In the middle of the game, fans released a black cat onto the field, who headed straight for Cub's Ron Santo in the on-deck circle and then to the Cubs dugout where it seemed to stare down the players. The Cubs lost that game and went 8-17 for the month and lost the NL East to the Mets by 8 games
