The only true difference is the price tag. The milling, porting, and size are all the same.
they are pretty much identical, both lightweight aluminum 2 piece barrels, take your pick
out of those two the proto will be better
Proto SLG all the way. Stay away from the spyders.
They are very similar (as Dye owns Proto), but the Dye UL is much lighter and offers slightly better accuracy. accuracy is determined by paint to bore match and paint quality, depending on the paint you use the proto could very well be more accurate, as for the two barrels the UL is not much lighter, if anything it is very minimal and i have yet to see that anything besides the logo and a little of the outward shape is different between these barrels
Yes, as long as it is Auto-cocker threaded, any barrel will fit.

Yes, it does.
The threads are autococker threads. All proto and dye guns have autococker threads.
The proto slg is very accurate even with the stock barrel
Spoon is derived from Old English spón, meaning chip of wood (Compare Old Norse spann, sponnchip/splinter, spoon; Swedish spån a wooden spoon); possibly from Proto-Germanic spænuz, (compare Middle Low German spon wooden spatula); possibly from Proto-Indo-European spē length of wood (compare Greek σφήν [sphēn] wedge).
The rail comes with a two piece barrel and has some slight changes, such as a new Feedneck, ASA (On/Off), Different Bolt, Ultralight Frame, and an aluminum body. The SLG has a bit older parts, and has a type of plastic for the body. This makes the pricing about 200 different between the two.
This is the newest in Dye markers. The bolt system is the same to a proto rail, though the barrel, ASA, and bodies are different. The NT has a price around $1500
