ummm i started 2 years ago and im lookin for a new board but if you are new and you arent quite sure if youre gonna stick with the sport for a long time and youre looking for something budget friendly you might try one of the following brands:
Lamar Snowboards (this is the company whos board i have at the moment - all in all this is a great board, if i wasnt starting freestyle then i would probly stick with it)
Sims - can be found usually anywhere you can find boards, good for beginners in any type of Snowboarding.
Burton - a bit high end but they still make good beginner boards to learn on. i'd recommend Burton to a begginer freestyler but you don't have to just get one if youre into freestyle.
Firefly - quite good all around very budget friendly and can be found at any major sporting store
well those some of the main beginner board companies
i hope this helped
peace
