Why is Tim Tebow not projected to be a first round pick?

Tim Tebow has poor mechanics and is not very agile. Because he wishes to be a quarterback, he is scrutinized heavily.
When he gets the snap, his throwing mechanics take way too much time according to dozens of NFL scouts, and his speed and quickness is a concern for being a quarterback.
Being from Florida, he has had great protection from his offensive line all year. He also has less pressure to score because of his dominant offensive weapons around him. During the 2010 Senior Bowl, Tebow made poor passes when under pressure and looked very lost in the offense. When pressured, which Tebow faced little of during his stay at Florida, he makes poor decisions.
Some scouts have noted that with time, Tebow can be a good quarterback. However, he is not quick enough, does not make great decisions, and has poor mechanics which cause him to throw the ball much later than most quarterbacks. Thus, he is projected to be a third round or later pick, and many scouts suggest he needs to play another position in the NFL to succeed.
