Your coin is almost certainly plated, because Lincoln cents have never been struck in silver, and zinc cents were not introduced until 1982.

A plated coin is considered to be damaged goods and is only worth face value.

The US never made silver pennies. For starters, they be worth more than dimes!

Your coin was almost certainly an ordinary bronze cent that was plated for use in jewelry or something similar, and has no added value.

There's an extremely slight chance that it's an aluminum pattern cent that was struck that year as an experimental replacement for bronze cents, but these are very rare and are readily identifiable because they're much lighter than normal cents - in fact, they weigh only about 1/3 as much.

The 1957 D wheat penny in gold is worth about 1300 dollars depending on the current gold market value. This penny can be worth more to a collector who values it for the gold and for the coin itself. The bronze composite wheat penny is worth about 2 dollars in mint condition.

1975 gold penny w/ 12-31-74 stamped above is worth the weight in gold about 3 dwt

CorrectionThese are NOT real gold. A private company took regular cents, gold-plated them, and used a metal punch to add the date 12-31-74 which is when the US again allowed private ownership of gold. The coins were sold as keepsakes and novelty items but they have no numismatic value (except for 1¢, of course).
