I need the routing for the serpentine belt for 1990 Ford 150?
Do you mean a SCHEMATIC diagram?
I need a diagram for a serpentine belt for a 1994 f150 with 5.0 engine I need a diagram for a serpentine belt for a 1994 f150 with 5.0 engine There should be a sticker near radiator shroud that has belt routing. If not stick the belt down past the right side of fan/water pump .put belt on crank pulley then pull back of belt over water pump and then down around power steering pulley and up over compressor pulley. put belt from crank pulley around smog pulley then up to tensioner with back of belt around tensioner and then around alternator pulley.next put rachet and socket(15 mm) on tensioner and pull on it while placing belt under idler pulley.
the belt tensioner does it by itself.short answer no
yes,a good parts man will give you a belt to bypass your ac.
The tension on a 1988 Ford F150 can be loosened by adjusting the belt tensioner. The retaining bolt is loosened, the tensioner shifted slightly, and tightened down.
i can't access a diagram on the net BUT when you open your hood there should be a diagram right there in the very front near the grill. I said should be because sometimes they come off or some dummy will remove it.
the easyiest way to change it would be to buy the belt then take it to the ford dealer ship and have them put it on
Serpentine Belt Under the hood should be a diagram of the belt, this is your best reference without the service manual. All you have to determine is which direction to rotate the belt tensioner, and then put the belt back on as shown in the diagram. If it is not you can run down to your nearest auto parts store and they can print it out for you or just buy the Hayes or chilton manual on your car. It only cost a few bucks and it well helps you out later down the line if something else brakes.
Remove serpentine belt. Remove pulley. Install new pulley. Install serpentine belt.
Best bet is to buy a Chilton Repair manual
The serpentine belt has a tensioner that you nust pry up to remove the belt. There should be a schematic of the routing of the belt on the fan shroud. If not, draw one before removing it.
no adjusting bolt u have a serpentine belt.that has a tension pulley that automatically adjusts if belt is loose, u need to replace belt
Chilton's manual, section 4.
You can find a vacuum diagram, for your 1992 Ford F1 50 pickup truck, at most Ford dealerships. You can also find the diagram at most auto-parts stores.
Depending on the year remove either the v-belt or the serpentine belt, remove the rear a/c manifold, remove the hold down bolts and then remove the a/c compressor.......
most vehicles have the belt routing under the hood if this is no longer available some auto part stores have a manual [book] that will show this
you can go to your local library and ask to look at a repair manual for you vehicle, in that manual you will find a diagram
Disconnect the negative battery cable. Rotate the belt tensioner to loosen the belt tension. Remove the belt. Install the new belt making sure that the belt goes over the pulleys in the same manner as the old one. Release the tensioner, and reconnect the battery.
where is the pcv valve on a 1992 f150 with 5.0 liter
Autozone.com has entire repair manuals on-line. The link is on the left of the home page.
Your best bet is to buy a Chilton's Repair Manual. It has alot of pictures and diagrams.
You should be able to find the diagram in the Haynes "How-to" Manual for your truck, some of these books are available at gas stations, we always pick one up at the local NAPA or AutoValue Auto Parts store. Great books, always convenient when you have an older vehicle!!! http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/shop_parts/repair_manual/ford/f150_pickup.html
I have a 1998 Ford F-150 V6. The diagrahm is on the fan shroud. Open the hood and take a look if its a newer model.
