The window has fallen off the track. The door panel will have to be removed to get to the window track system and see exactly what is wrong. The check engine light comes on whenever the computer detects a problem with the emissions system. Don't ignore the light, and have this looked into even if the engine appears to be running fine. You may end up destroying a perfectly good catalytic converter.
