1 quart of rice weighs about how many ounces
A grain of rice weighs roughly 0.0725 ounces.
Twelve ounces of cooked rice equals 4 ounces of uncooked rice, if you use a two to one ratio of liquid to water. To calculate just take the weight of the water, "a pint is a pound the whole world 'round", and add it to the weight of the rice
This is a little difficult to answer as there are many ways to give you a correct answer. I once had a quart jar full of jelly beans which could each have an answer written on each but jelly beans are pretty big in size. I do know of a woman on the California beaches that can write your name on a grain of rice. So, if we have short answers I imagine she could write an answer on each grain of rice. Let me get back to you when i figure out how many grains of rice I can fit into a quart jar. If your question was how many ounces are in a quart then, the answer would be 32 oz.
7 pounds
5
That is 44 ounces
How many ounces of rice you need per person will depend on the appetite of the people you are serving, and what else is being served. Generally 1/2 cup of rice per person is good. That is four ounces of rice.
150g = 5.29oz
16 oz
.72
Obviously, there are 16 ounces in a pound, regardless of what your measuring.(exepting gold)
