my grand am done the same thing i fixed it myself in about 15 mins. Wait for the security light to come on and when it does take the radio out and start the car and cut the little small yellow wire that is running in the key switch the security light will stay on due to bypassing it but it works. I done mine 2 years ago and it never failed a start since Take it to the dealer. lock cylinder needs to be replaced & system needs to be reprogramed. Dealer is the only people with the equip & software that I know of. Approx $400.00 to $600.00 depending where you live
