2001 ford windstar was parked for 2 months now works great but will not shift stays in second.. could you please HELP?
the same thing happened to my dads Toyota, you might have somethng that got loosened under the car,possibly if you were in a snowstorm,or you might want to inspect the exhaust pipe and see if there isn't anything blocking it. If so, the engine might have gotten the shift gears unplugged, loosened or disconnected,you can fairly easily reconnect them,but I don't know where to reconnect a disconnected gear.
