Have you tried hooking a battery charger up , or getting a battery boost from another vehicle or battery jumpstarter pack ? Are your battery cable connections clean and tight ?

Diesel engines are EXTREMELY durable. With proper maintenance, I would fully expect to get 400,000 miles from a power stroke ford. Possibly more depending on how it is driven. Hope this helps. Mike
disconnect both neg. bat. cables and remove connector and the 10mm nut from the altnator release belt tensinor pull belt off alt. pully remove the three bolts and reinstall.
Possibly a worn belt on the power steering pumo.
The main reason of not using the spark plugs in diesel engines is because of the diesel having a low ignition temperature. At the end of the compression stroke the pressure and temperature values achieved are sufficient to ignite the diesel which is sprayed into the hot air in the combustion chamber.

Remember when talking about diesel trucks don't concern yourself with horsepower, the real numbers are in the torque. 2004 ford 6.0l is 325hp & 560tq which would equal to a 500hp+ gas motor.
probably ball joints or another suspension part but get it checked asap you don't want the front end coming apart at highway speed
