Start with the engine off. Turn the key two clicks, but not started and withing 5 seconds fully depress the gas pedal 3 times. Pause slightly between stomps;One..two..three. Then wait until the dash says "oil life reset". It should only take a few seconds. You are free to turn the key off or start the engine.
Chevrolet does not use inertia/reset switches.
