If you're swapping a 4L80E to replace a 4L60E, it's not a simple drop in swap. You're looking at a lot of repinning the ECM harness connectors, and that in and of itself is going to take more explanation than what can be feasibly done in the answer text here. There may also be some ECM reflashing required... that part, I'm not 100% certain about.. when I did the 4L80E swap into my 97 Blazer, I also swapped in a 350 which had already been flashed for the 4L80E. This isn't an uncommon swap, and the diagrams are readily available online, as are tips on various forums from those who've done this swap.

It is possible to change them out! If your 95 has a 4L60E or 4L80E the plugs are different from a 7000R4, 350 Turbo, or a 400 Turbo. I have a few questions for you! First of all is both trucks 4x4.
