If you have 'radiators' heated by hot water, these give up most of their heat to the room by convection, that is currents of air are set up by the thermal gradients which continually cause warm air to rise and cooler air to fall, so the heat circulates. Actual radiant heat is not so effective at the temperature of the hot water, so to call the units 'radiators' is not correct, but it has become ingrained as a habit to do so
