an oscilloscope
It is called the x-variable. It can be the independent variable but there may be no independent variable.
Yes indeed, it is therefore distinguished from Radar which uses radio-wave emissions, hence Radio Detection( or direction) and ranging. Sonar is used on ships- though some Blimps used it in sonic rangefinders used in pin-pointing altitude and also to detect submarines. The German made device was called an Echolot ( Echo- Location plot) by the Germans and Sonicaltimeter by the USN boys. The idea was championed by Admiral Rosenthal, who saw it as an easy transition to use of Blimps in an anti-sub role. the British referred to SONAR as Asdic- Anti-Submarine Detection improvement committee, who developed the device. Porpoises, some whales, and it is understood seals ( Pinnipeds, not commandos!) use naturally existent Sonar, as Bats employ radar.
the turn of the screw was a horrible book with a very confusing plot. but I'm positive its about a governess finding out if the kids she is looking over is in danger of two ghosts name Miss Jessel and Peter Quint.
A Sound cue sheet is just that and nothing more a sheet that list sound cue information. that info can be as much or little as you want from Q#, Pg #, Go Point, Q description, etc...now a Sound Plot is a much more in depth look at the other and often over looked part of sound design; the system. a sound plot will include ALL speaker placements and mixer outs/in, matrix outs, microphone assigns and the such. most times a sound cue sheet will be included as a sheet in the sound plot but not always. also most times sound plots are done in AutoCAD, VectorWorks, Excel or other such programs. Yeah
an oscilloscope
An oscilloscope would fill the bill, but so would a more obscure device called a Kymograph. Non-electronic devices were developed in the nineteenth century to plot the courses of ocean tides, for example, these were called Tidal Prediction machines.
scatter plot.
Kymograph. Don"t ask me how it works- also used to track RF radio frequency waves.
character vs. self
The plot device is of how middle school is for kids in amreica
plot area
cos it's a plot it needs to be called a plot
stem-and-leaf plot
The scientists were not certain that their device would work correctly. Mistaken identity is a common plot device in mysteries.
No, it is a plot device for Disney's Lemonade Mouth.
foreshadowing Foreshadowing, which is a literary device in which an author suggests certain plot developments that might come later in the story.
