He is being sensible and honest. He has sense enough to know that it could cause a lot of trouble between you and your sister, and he does not want to be a part of that. Don't look for trouble. Find another guy. There are a lot of them out there, but you only have one sister. Sometimes you have to be a grownup and admit there are things you can't have.
