You are describing a liquid, however, liquids are not normally considered objects. Substances would be a better term.

The element Mercury would fall into that category! And it is a form of metal!

Let's widen the scope...

Gases also flow. Relatively solid glaciers will flow. Rubber experiences "cold flow" that you may have noticed around a hose clamp. Glass is fairly solid at room temperature but a glass window pane will sag over the centuries because it has no crystalline structure. You can even argue that rock in the asthenosphere, heated and subjected to pressure, achieves plasticity and, so, flows. Powdered solids flow but have no gross shape. Electricity flows but has no shape. Don't forget that, metaphorically, time flows like a river...it flies, too.

It could be a gas or a liquid. If it takes the shape of its container and has a definite volume, then it would be a liquid. It it fills its container and does not have a definite volume (ie. can be compressed), then it would be a gas.
