'I' statements
A person with anger problems needs to come full circle and realize they have an anger problem and seek Anger Management Courses which is similar to Cognitive Therapy. There isn't much you can do about a person who is very angry most of the time. If this is a friend then communicate the fact to them their anger is out of control and until they get help through Anger Management you are not willing to hang around with them. If you are married or living with someone then you need to communicate with your mate and let them know how you feel. Since this person is angry already they may well become angrier at any suggestion you may make and then it will be up to you to decide if you want to stay with your mate and suffer because of the anger issues they have. The best thing to do is not to engage in any argument with this person and if need be walk away or leave the house for an hour or so until this person calms down.
That is actually a good sign, you know that "you" have hate inside yourself. This can be caused by something you resent, or maybe you have some family issues that is hard for you to understand. It might help if you talk to someone you trust and look up to like a teacher, mother, father, sister, grandma, grandpa, school nurse, therapist etc. If you keep this hate inside of you it can cause ulcers and many other illnesses. Don't hold in your anger (punch out your pillow) it's a way to release some anger or talk to the person you are angry at.
