Advantage and disadvantage of mining

Disadvantages? Expensive, dangerous, hard work, can be damaging to the environment.

Advantages? Prior to mining was the Stone Age- cavemen chipping tools out of rock. Mining produces ALL of the metals and much of the energy used by modern life. Unless someone grew it, it was mined. The computer you are using to read this contains about 37 materials that came from mining. The electricity to power it may come from coal, oil, or gas produced by mining.

1)lack of water and food.

2)heavy metals like lead which causes many diseases.

3)radioactive metals such as uranium which cause diseases such as cancer and others.

Advantages: we get bauxite which we can export and built the economy. Disadvantages: persons homes and lands are destroyed for mining
